The Fair Crest Group team
Fair Crest Group · founded by carers, run by carers

A care agency built the right way

Fair Crest Group was founded with a simple belief: good care starts with being cared for ourselves. That means fair pay, real training, and treating the people who do the work with the same dignity we ask them to show our clients.

We started as a small, family-run service and have grown steadily — never at the cost of quality. Today we support families across London and the South East, with a clear plan to expand to other UK regions. The principle is the same: small consistent teams, real relationships, transparent pricing.

We focus exclusively on one thing: professional home care visits that help you or your loved one stay independent at home. No live-in, no complex care, no agency staffing — just reliable, personalised domiciliary care across the UK.

Flexible visit times

From a single 30-minute check-in to multiple daily visits. Morning, lunchtime, evening, and weekend slots available.

Continuity of care

The same small team of regular carers for every visit. No rota chaos, no strangers in your home.

DBS-checked, fully trained carers

Every carer is DBS-checked, reference-verified, and completes our in-house training before their first visit.

Available across the whole of the UK

England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. If you live in the UK, we can provide care.

Free in-home assessment

No obligation. We visit, listen, and create a care plan tailored to your needs, preferences, and budget.

Why choose care at home?

Staying at home isn't just about comfort — it's about maintaining dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Stay in familiar surroundings

Home is where recovery happens best. Being in familiar surroundings reduces stress, supports mental wellbeing, and maintains daily routines that matter.

One-to-one attention

Unlike a care home where staff divide their time between many residents, your carer is focused entirely on you — every visit, every shift.

More cost-effective

Home care can often be a more affordable option than residential care, while still providing high-quality, personalised support at a fraction of the cost.

Family involvement

Families stay closely involved in care decisions. We provide regular updates so everyone has peace of mind and transparency about the support being provided.

Helpful insights for families

Frequently asked

Quick answers to the questions families ask us most. Don't see yours? Get in touch — we reply within one working day.

How quickly can care start?
Often within 24–48 hours for urgent cases, and usually within a week for planned starts. After your free assessment, we assign a small consistent team and book your first visit. For specialist care, we may need a few more days to ensure the right match.
Are you regulated?
Fair Crest Group Ltd is registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17184576). We are currently preparing our application for registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) — once registered, we will display our CQC rating here. In the meantime, all of our care staff are DBS-checked, our training is VTCT-accredited, and we are fully insured. We follow CQC's five key lines of enquiry in our operating policies regardless of formal registration status.
What's included in a free assessment?
A 45-minute visit (at your home, hospital, or by phone) where we discuss care needs, daily routines, preferences, and any cultural or faith requirements. You receive a clear written care plan and a transparent quote — no obligation to proceed.
How much does home care cost?
Costs vary depending on the type and level of care needed. Visiting care is typically priced per hour, domiciliary care is priced per visit or per hour, with discounts for regular scheduled visits. Many families qualify for local authority funding, NHS Continuing Healthcare, or Attendance Allowance — we can advise on the application process.
Will I have the same carers every week?
Yes — we deliberately keep care teams small (typically 2–3 regular carers) so you build a real relationship with the people supporting you. Consistency matters, especially for those living with dementia or anxiety. We never send a different person every day.
What if I need to change or cancel a visit?
Just call the office or your care coordinator — we ask for 24 hours' notice where possible, but we understand life doesn't always work that way. No long contracts, no exit fees. You're in control.
Do you offer overnight or 24-hour care?
We focus exclusively on domiciliary (visiting) care. We don't currently provide overnight or 24-hour live-in care, but we can signpost you to trusted partners who do. Many of our clients arrange a family member or live-in carer separately for nights, with our visiting care covering daytime hours.
Can I get funding to help pay for care?
Often, yes. Depending on your situation, you may qualify for: local authority funding (means-tested), NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC), Attendance Allowance, or Personal Independence Payment (PIP). We'll help you understand what's available and, where appropriate, support your application.
What areas do you cover?
We currently provide care across Greater London and the South East of England (Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Sussex). See full location list. Don't see your area? Get in touch — we may still be able to help.
